Poas Volcano Tours in Costa Rica

The Poas Volcano is among the most visited national parks in the Costa Rican National Park System.
It features two extremely impressive craters, one of which holds a lovely blue lagoon.

At 2700 meters from ground level, you will find the first crater 1.4km wide and 280m deep. Great opportunity for taking pictures from the observation deck!!!

The second crater, Laguna Botes, is a lake surrounded by dense cloud forest.  Here, you will find a variety of hummingbird species and various types of exotic birds.

The surrounding national park boasts an extensive trail system that offers beautiful views of the Central Valley and San Jose metropolitan area.

During the tour, we will also visit the town of Sarchi, which is famous for its woodworking and handicraft markets.

Pick up time: 7:30am.

Length of tour: Full day.

Includes: Air conditioned transportation, bilingual guide, park entrance fee, lunch, visit to Sarchi.

What to bring: Tennis shoes, comfortable clothing, light weight jacket, camera, sun block and a hat.
