Step off the tourist trail and discover the old Costa Rica; within a short driving 
distance of both Los Suenos, Jaco and Esterillos, you will find yourself immersed in the 
abundant flora and fauna that surrounds you here at La Quina. Owned by the same family 
since 1850, conservation is the main aim of the farm. Animals of all kinds call this home.
Three of the four types of monkeys found in Costa Rica thrive in the forests here. 
Families of parrots, deer, white nosed coatis, and endless species of birds and iguana 
roam the unspoiled area.
Even if it is your first time in the saddle, our horses will make you feel like an 
accomplished rider. Riders with experience will appreciate how happy, fit and responsive 
our horses are. Specializing in small groups of no more than 6 people. Children over 5 
welcome. We share our trails with no one but the monkeys!”
